“I am so excited to share my experience organizing my home with Kaleigh Tuso. Kaleigh is an organizing queen! Kaleigh came to my house prepared with a positive attitude. She was encouraging and patient through my sorting process and shared wonderful organizing tips that will help me in other areas of my home. We identified two areas that I use frequently, and sorted through two drawers that desperately needed work. One junk drawer in my kitchen and a second junk drawer by the door. Kaleigh helped me lay *everything* out on the kitchen counter from both drawers; she sorted things into piles and tasked me with throwing anything away that was actually trash.
We sorted from one end to the other, every single item I had!
Then, utilized containers I had to set up my junk drawer. Seeing everything in piles made it easier to toss and re-home things I didn’t need. Kaleigh helped me find a fun place to display my bag of tiny plastic babies (impulse gag gift). I tried to put them all in a jar and they wouldn’t fit. Kaleigh noticed how much joy these brought me and put the remainder of the babies into their own little compartment in my junk drawer so I can use them. It made me smile at the thought of getting to utilize something instead of it wasting away in a drawer.
The last step was finding a use for the newly emptied drawer in the kitchen. Kaleigh saw how much tea I had and suggested it could be used as a tea drawer. I had never thought I could do that. We teach ourselves so many weird rules when it comes to where things belong. This worked for me, and my new favorite drawer is my “Tea drawer”! I had the best time finding all of the tea related items scattered in my kitchen and putting them in my drawer seeing them in one easily accessible place. We finished the session by quickly organizing a few shelves and a cupboard in my kitchen.
The process was so enlightening for me.
I felt very supported and guided through each step, without feeling overwhelmed. I learned so many helpful tips on how to place things with "like" items, for similar purposes, and how not to mix items. I also learned how to store things for their shape and size. Most importantly, Kaleigh built spaces for me in my home that were meaningful that did not exist before, in just 2 hours. Kaleigh helped restore the space in a hands-on, user friendly way that focused on the things that make us happy. I highly recommend Kaleigh Tuso for organizing services in your personal, creative, or professional spaces.”
